I’ve said too many times now that this blog is old-school and disorganized. In it’s 3-post glory, it’s shaping up to be the 2010 style blog–basically, the online diary. I’m not going to write posts like this forever. I know how to write the 2024 style blog posts. The listicles, with the gorgeous photos and the helpful links and the carefully curated typography. I’ll get there; I promise.
But right now, I’m trying to avoid more analysis-paralysis. And I’m trying to get to know you, or rather, to allow you to get to know me.
I have so many ideas and too much fear/perfectionism. If I don’t start getting these out, I’m either going to explode or to quit before I get started. So I’m pulling a Walt (the old-school Disney, not this new-fangled stuff):

I’m beginning the doing. At some point, I’ll write and revise and produce those exquisite, modern posts. It’ll be great! But, I like to think I’ll keep this kind sprinkled in too–the kind that read like my thoughts. The kind that feel like you’re sitting in my living room with a comfy blanket and a fresh cup of coffee and we’re catching up after a whole week of not talking to each other! 🙂 That feels cozy to me. It feels authentic and intimate. Real. We need more of that. So, I plan on keeping some of it in this space. My little corner of the internet. The one I’m building into a space of invitation and value.
It’s a work in progress (WIP, as the cool kids on craft-tok and Instagram say). It’s one of MANY WIPs in my life right now. The good Lord knows in my bid to find direction, I’m heading in about 14. But really–I’m not finished with them. I’m going to finish them! (I’m going to finish SOMETHING lol.)

See? I’m all over the place. And this is probably legitimately half of it. I swear… I hope I find out I’m one of those like, serial-entrepreneur, creative-genius types. Otherwise, I’m just overly ambitious and delusional haha! It’s so crazy, it just might work.
Here’s the plan: I’m going to start with this list. I’m going to work through it, probably not sequentially, until it’s all finished. The purpose and mission and identity of this blog/brand are unfolding in my mind and life more every day. At some point, I’ll write about that too. Eventually, I’ll get it clarified and pared down. But for now, let this serve as your reference for what this blog is about. It’s a lifestyle blog about beauty, real life–life with God, goodness, nature, crafts. Entertainment, information, inspiration, and connection. *shrugs* We’ll get there, or we won’t.
